Harry has been a major figure on the British Jazz scene for over two decades and he is one of the most popular and highly regarded musicians in the country. He has been in full time work since he played in the Charlie Mingus band in the early sixties. In the early seventies he won the Melody Maker Jazz Poll. He has featured strongly and has recorded with many successful bands since then, such as Graham Collier, John Surman Octet, Stan Tracey Big Band, Ronnie Scott Quintet, John Dankworth and many more. |
| Harry is at ease playing all styles, his professional, dedicated approach and warm personality are respected by everyone. Featured European performances have included many festivals such as Nice & Montreux. He is also a composer/arranger of note. At his Art he is quite simply ‘the best' and a ‘must' for the ‘Dream Team'. | |
