Chris Pendlebury served his apprenticeship on the club scene and rock world of the early 70's. He was converted to jazz by the influences of his father trombonist Alan, and uncle, pianist Keith Pendlebury; both huge contributors to jazz throughout the 60's and 70's.

Nice jazz festival in 1978 lead to a lasting friendship with legendary drummer JC Heard, proving to be inspirational in his drumming career.

Chris has played throughout Europe with some of the UK's finest musicians: Don Weller, Pete King, Don Rendell, Dick Morrisey and visiting Americans.

His Jazz club in Manchester attracts musicians from all over the world.
