John Lambrick began his career as a jazz musician in 1984 playing at venues throughout the UK, including Ronnie Scotts' Club. Bass guitar was his first instrument and in that context, he worked with many International Artists, including Dick Hexstal Smith, Harry Beckett, Don Rendell and Marcia and Keith Pendlebury. For this album, John has changed instruments from bass to acoustic guitar to combine with Paul Hartley in this line up. |

Paul Hartley taught himself guitar when a teenager, and went on to play in various folk, rock and soul bands up to the late ‘70's when he fell in love with Jazz. A regular on the Manchester Scene, playing traditional Jazz, Fusion, with Big Bands and small groups; he now leads the Hartley-Hyde Quartet. |
